Every Child Deserves the Magic of Camp
Summer camp is not just fun and games – it offers a life-changing experience where campers build confidence, friendships, and resilience. But too many kids with special needs, in foster care, or from under-resourced families face barriers they can’t overcome alone.
Your gift makes the difference. With your support, children who might never have the chance can discover joy, belonging, and independence at summer camp. Your gift to Camps For Kids helps ensure that no Kansas City child is turned away from camp due to disability or financial hardship.
There are a number of ways you can support Camps For Kids’ mission and help more kids get to camp: become a Matchmaker by giving monthly and helping Camps For Kids match donations to participating camps during the Match CAMPaign; make a donation to Camps For Kids that can be used generally to support all of its programs; or between April 1 and July 31, make a donation to a participating camp to be matched by Camps For Kids in the Match CAMPaign.
